Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using INSEKTIQ's website (insektiq.com) or purchasing and using INSEKTIQ software products ("Products"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our website or Products.

INSEKTIQ ("we", "us", "our") reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or Products constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Products and Licensing

INSEKTIQ sells perpetual software licenses for audio processing plugins. When you purchase a Product:

• You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software.
• The license covers personal use on all machines you own. Commercial use (in professional studio work, releases, performances) is permitted.
• You may activate the software on up to 2 machines simultaneously. You can deactivate machines via your account dashboard.
• You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the software.
• License transfers to another person are permitted by contacting support.

3. Free Trial

INSEKTIQ may offer a free trial period for Products. The trial provides full functionality for 14 days. After the trial period, the software requires a valid license to continue operating. No credit card is required for the trial.

4. Payments and Pricing

All payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com. Paddle handles all billing, tax calculation, and payment processing on our behalf. By making a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.

Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to local taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) which Paddle calculates and collects automatically. INSEKTIQ reserves the right to change pricing at any time, but price changes do not affect existing purchases.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us at support@insektiq.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.

Refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear within 5–10 business days. Upon refund, your license is revoked and the software will cease to function.

6. Accounts

You may create an account to manage your licenses and downloads. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

All INSEKTIQ Products, the INSEKTIQ brand, TONIQ, and related trademarks, logos, and content are the intellectual property of INSEKTIQ. Your license grants you the right to use the software, not ownership of the software itself.

Content you create using INSEKTIQ Products (audio recordings, mixes, productions) is entirely yours. We claim no rights to your creative output.

8. Updates and Support

Perpetual licenses include free updates for the lifetime of the product. We are not obligated to provide updates on any specific schedule. Support is provided via email on a best-effort basis.

9. Limitation of Liability

INSEKTIQ Products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

In no event shall INSEKTIQ be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our Products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal remedies.
